Being an orphan and lacking material resources, I didn’t dare imagine studying in a well-known university in Iasi. As a Blue Heron scholarship recipient, I had the privilege to improve my life both at the professional and personal level.
I want to start by thanking all the Blue Heron contributors, as well as Prof. Lidia Starica who first introduced me to the Blue Heron program. In addition, I want to thank my mentor, Mrs. Corina Musteret, who came to have a very special place in my life and in my heart.
Deep into the forest of the Carpathian Mountains, 30 worlds came together, in harmony, as some of the Blue Heron students, mentors, alumni and trainers met for the first time at the summer camp held at Cheile Rasnoavei
The kick-off event for Blue Heron Foundation was a great success.
Founders, advisors, volunteers and interested donors came together to discuss the plight of Romania’s abandoned children and the need to help.
Blue Heron Foundation’s founder, Stefania Magidson, was special guest and spoke about the plight of Romania’s abandoned children at the Romanian National Day hosted by the Consulate of Romania in Los Angeles.
