Romania and Moldova

Our students come from 25 of Romania’s 40 regions and 14 of Moldova’s 32 regions. Since 2005, over 450 institutionalized youth have graduated as doctors, social workers, engineers and teachers, supported by our flagship mentoring program.

Our Cancer Care Program has treated over 150 displaced Ukrainian refugees, while providing ongoing medical research and education in Moldova and Ukraine.

We created 12 humanitarian programs in response to the Ukrainian refugee crisis (2022-2023). In Romania we treated 300 HIV positive children (2008), built playgrounds for orphanages (2005) and hired ‘loving arms’ staff for orphanages (2003).
