On August 27th the American Romanian Academy of Arts and Sciences Congress invited Stefania Magidson to speak about the Blue Heron Foundation along with her newly released book, Searching for the White Magician. It allowed Stefania to be part of the Romanian American collaboration and gave her the opportunity to reveal the connection between her book and the foundation.
Stefania Magidson’s debut book, Searching for the White Magician, is a series of dialogues that explores themes ranging from immigration and philanthropy to spiritual psychology and self-realization. Stefania believes that we are spiritual beings having a human experience (and not the other way around), which offers us an opportunity to learn, to heal, to elevate ourselves, and hopefully our peers, through the act of giving and receiving love. Stefania reiterated how this has been a guiding principle for the Blue Heron Foundation and explained how the mission and activities of the foundation have brought the Romanian and American communities together in order to uplift youth from Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
