As always, our students are front and center and it gives us immense joy to share with you that alumnus Lucian has followed in our footsteps and started his own non-profit in Bucharest, “School for Parents.” We send him good wishes and hope he has great success.
This past July during their annual trip to Romania, Stefania Magidson, along with Project Director Cristina Porsega, Mentorship Program Coordinator Mihaela Constantinescu, and Camp Collaborators Daniela Serban and Adrian Paduraru, attended the kick-off event for Alumnus Lucian Mustata’s non-profit organization, “School for Parents.” Lucian graduated in 2014 with a degree in Cybernetics and runs a very successful IT company. Cognizant of how much he benefited from the Blue Heron Program, Lucian started his own non-profit with the aim of improving the parent-child dynamic. His organization offers a variety of courses, each six weeks long, starting with pregnant mothers, including teenagers, and thereafter focusing on helping parents build a good relationship with their infant/child/teen. Lucian asked us to say a few words, and we found it so meaningful to acknowledge his efforts to pay it forward.
