I want to start by thanking all the Blue Heron contributors, as well as Prof. Lidia Starica who first introduced me to the Blue Heron program. In addition, I want to thank my mentor, Mrs. Corina Musteret, who came to have a very special place in my life and in my heart.

Become a mentor
Each of our mentors becomes a guide, an adviser and a friend for his or her mentee. Mentors communicate with the students on a regular basis, read their reports, teach them how to overcome difficult moments and how to navigate life more wisely.
Our mentors are college graduates who live productive, responsible lives and are often leaders in their community. They donate a minimum of one hour of their time monthly, reading the scholarship recipients’ monthly reports and answering back, guiding and supporting them through their college experience.
If you want to become a mentor and make a difference in a young person’s life, please contact Mihaela Constantinescu at firstname.lastname@example.org.
